We had a leak from a faulty dishwasher install through Lowes. Brandon from JW Home Care came out the day after I called to give me an estimate of the damages and abatement. He informed me I would need an asbestos and lead test of my drywall before anything could move forward. Turns out I have asbestos in my drywall. While this meant I couldn't use JW Home Care as I'd need an environmental abatement company for the job, they were helpful throughout the entire process and gave good advice. All this was done without asking for a dime. Seems like a stand up company and if my situation were different, I would not hesitate to use their services.

Side note, Lowes sucks and will not in any way negotiate in good faith with you should they mess up an install and damage your kitchen. Avoid at all costs.

They are responsive, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. They do quality work!

I found this company by looking for two crucial criteria: solid reviews and a family owned business.
I was glad I found them, because the man that showed up to help answer my questions was so honest and kind. I had some concerns over surface mold, and Jon answered all my questions. He didn't try to sell me on anything. This is the kind of business I wish existed everywhere. It is very hard to find businesses with an honest and fair mindset. Thank you so much.

Had a slab leak in my kitchen/living room area which I immediately shutoff water supply and needed to assess the situation for any damage and a proper game plan. I did some research and came across a restoration company called JW Home Care whom I spoke with Jon and we arranged an appt the very next day. Jon showed up on time, professional and went to work figuring out the scope of my potential issues; with his knowledge and data collected, we were able to assess what should be done immediately and things that could be held off for that moment.

Just so happens, he advised that my scenario could somewhat easily be handled on my own unless I wanted to use their service and since I do consider myself somewhat handy I decide to do myself. Jon is a straight shooter and one who does not try to use scare tactics to persuade you to make unnecessary rushed discussions which I very much respect, appreciate, and I fully trust his opinion as well as recommend to anyone who happens to have potential damage to their home.

Polite and honest with me on the on the phone. They no longer work in carpet care. Focus is on restoration.
They did refer me to a company called: Approved Carpet Care 805-405-9600.

We had a leak from the roof that made it inside the wall in one of our bedroom closets. By the time we discovered it, we had a bad mold situation. JW promptly responded to our call. They removed all of the affected drywall. The dry out took several weeks to complete. During that process, they made regular visits to check on the progress. Once that was completed, they rebuilt our closet and did a great job. They also patiently worked with us on payment while we dealt with our insurance company. I would not hesitate to recommend JW if you are in the need of such services.

Unfortunately, we experienced a sudden water line break in our bathroom. It quickly spread from the bathroom into a dressing area and halfway before we could turn the water supply off. We promptly repaired the water line, but needed the help of an experienced outfit to thoroughly dry the carpeting, padding and baseboards. We called on JW Home Care.
Initially, we did experience some confusion, however, Brandon stepped in and it was quickly resolved. The folks at JW Home Care understood the specifics of the project and applied the appropriate scope of work. They are clearly a well-supported and well-supplied operation, we would recommend you give them a try.

We had to use JW home care again when our cellar flooded during the rains. Again, Brandon was super responsive , managed fit us in to his schedule and did a fantastic job. He communicated well with our tenant and myself. Thank you!

I had a water leak from a water heater at a rental property and the plumbing company suggested a water remediation company. This company tried to pressure me to begin work to dry the room out (to begin at $1900) without a written estimate/detail of work or me having seen the area in question. I didn't feel comfortable with this and felt like I was being scammed so I yelped searched JW home care and they came out the next day. Jon came within the time window and was honest and reasonable. There was very minimal water damage and instead of trying to take advantage of situation/me by quoting some outrageous number he went through the area with me and pointed out each thing that needed to be addressed all of which we could do on our own. I felt bad that I had used up his time for such a small thing and offered to pay for his time and he refused. He let me know what it would cost to get dehumidifier/fans from him and that they'd be happy to assist but we could do/rent on our own for fraction of the cost. You don't come across honest businesses like this often. Some would say they missed out on money but Im hoping they gain 10 more customers from their honesty/this review. if I ever do get in a situation where in need this service I will def call them!
